AServices & Process
The core difference lies in the "information gap" versus the "capability gap". Traditional agencies mainly broker information; we focus on building capability. All our tutors are current students or graduates of Oxford, Cambridge, the G5 and the Ivy League, preparing you for admissions tests, interviews and personal statements from an insider's perspective. Meanwhile, systematic methods such as the Mock Interview Carousel turn individual experience into a replicable training system.
For undergraduate applications, we recommend starting 1–2 years in advance — Oxbridge admissions tests and interviews require long-term preparation, and super-curricular reading is best started as early as possible. For master's applications, we suggest planning your profile in the first term of your penultimate year, then moving into personal statements and school selection the following term. That said, whenever you start, we will always begin with an honest feasibility assessment.
We cover the UK and the US (our flagship destinations), as well as Australia, Canada, Hong Kong (China), Singapore and other mainstream destinations. We focus mainly on undergraduate and master's applications. Multi-destination combinations — such as UK + Hong Kong + Singapore, or UK + Australia — are our strength: strategies differ greatly between regions, so mixed applications demand truly integrated planning.
Five steps: free assessment → tailored plan → tutor matching → full-cycle execution → offer decision. Every step has clearly defined deliverables: assessment report, roadmap, session records and written feedback. See the detailed process on our Services Fees & Pricing pages.
Yes. Individual services — personal statement polishing, single mock interview rounds, admissions test preparation, school selection planning and more — can all be purchased on demand, which is ideal for DIY applicants looking to strengthen specific weak points. See the full list on the Services page.
Three channels: ① a fixed monthly parent sync call (30 minutes online); ② automatic milestone notifications (plan finalised, statement finalised, application submitted, etc.); ③ a progress dashboard that parents can check anytime. Transparency is a commitment written into our values.
BTutors & Teaching
Four steps: CV screening (Oxbridge / G5 / Ivy League and global Top 30 only) → a subject trial lesson (15 minutes teaching a real exam question) → background verification (degree certificates + DBS or equivalent checks) → quarterly reviews (student ratings, retention rate, feedback quality). Our overall acceptance rate is below 5%.
Matching happens across three dimensions: subject (same or a closely related discipline), university (current student or graduate of your target school), and style (both sides confirm smooth communication during the free assessment session). If the fit isn't right, you can request a change of tutor at any time — the switch is completed within 5 working days and costs no session hours.
Primarily one-to-one online (time-zone friendly, with Oxbridge tutors based across the UK), with lesson recordings available for review. Beijing-based students can also book in-person workshops and mock interview rotations. All sessions are recorded and traceable.
Our most popular signature mechanism: three or more mock interview rounds, conducted in rotation by your lead tutor and several tutors who are strangers to you — recreating the real pressure combination of "unfamiliar interviewer + unknown questions". A written feedback report is delivered within 24 hours of each round. See the interview rotation mechanism for details.
CApplications & Admissions
That is exactly the question our free assessment answers. Based on three dimensions — academic results, depth of subject exploration, and foundations in critical thinking — we give you an honest judgment: if you're competitive, we show you how to amplify your strengths; if you're not there yet, we tell you where the gaps are and whether it's worth the investment. We don't take on cases we're not confident about — that's both our reputation and our principle.
It's possible — but a "comeback" is about strategy, not miracles: choose the right track (programmes that value practice), build real substance (depth in research or internships), and tell the right story (reframing the narrative of your personal statement). Take a look at our case library — our Columbia CS and Imperial College London EE admits both started from profiles that didn't look impressive on paper.
You must write it yourself — we are coaches, not ghostwriters. The process: co-create the structure → you produce the first draft → your tutor polishes it paragraph by paragraph → final version after three rounds. Admissions officers have read thousands of essays and can spot ghostwritten statements instantly. Besides, writing skills themselves will keep paying you back throughout your academic journey.
It matters — and it's often underestimated. Colleges differ significantly in admissions style, interview format and how the pooling system works. We run a college-matching analysis based on your academic profile and personality — choosing the right college can make a visible difference to your success rate.
Two paths: ① Take a gap year and reapply — we conduct a full review of that year's materials, identify structural issues, and build a reapplication plan; ② Pivot to Plan B — use your current results to target the best options in other destinations. Either way, a free in-depth review report is included in your service.
DFees & Guarantees
Different programmes and session packages correspond to different levels of investment (overview of our three tiers). We always assess first and quote after: after the 30-minute free assessment you'll receive a written plan with clear pricing. Everything is transparent before you sign — there's never a "pay first, talk later".
Within 7 days of your first official lesson, you can request a full refund of all payments made — no reason needed (refunded via the original payment method, arriving in 3–5 working days). No explanations, no proof required — the experience itself is our best argument.
No. Not a penny beyond the contract: if a fee isn't listed in your written plan, it doesn't exist. If you are ever charged anything outside the contract during your service, we will refund you double the amount.
EOthers
We currently operate from our Beijing office plus a fully online global service, with a tutor liaison point in the UK (where Oxford and Cambridge are located). Our online service system already covers 20+ time zones — overseas applications are a natural fit for remote collaboration.
Start with a 30-minute free assessment: fill in the booking form or contact us directly, and an advisor will confirm a time with you within 48 hours. Just have your transcript (if available) and your goals in mind — nothing else is needed.
